About

Getting a model to perform is a fraction of the work. Getting a system into daily operation, integrated, monitored, trusted and owned, is the job.

I’m an entrepreneur and engineer, and the founder of Gris Noir, where we find where AI can make or save a business money and then build it into the operation. Before that I spent ten years taking machine-learning systems into production, in clinical genomics and health tech. I write about workflow diagnosis, production AI and the structures needed to run it properly.
